It seems only fitting to start our monthly features with introductions. At Rock Climbing Women, we hope to meet people that live and climb all over the world. Destinations offer new glimpses into the sport, but I think we can agree there’s a difference between a place you travel to and a place you know. For the month of June, we hope to feature stories of those places you know. You don’t have to be an expert or impress us with beta – unless you want to. You don’t even have to live there any more – unless you do. How does that place make you feel? What does it make you remember? What hooks you? Is it the people, the views, the quality, the variety? You can tell us about accomplishments, discoveries, route-setting, falling, leading – anything you want as long as your story centers on the place you call home.
